It seems that new movies have been particularly attractive to pirates last week as five of the top 10 most downloaded movies, as compiled by TorrentFreak, are new entries, aka new movies to the BitTorrent network, not necessarily new releases.
The top three spots are filled by new entries, Special Forces coming in at number one, In Time at number two, and Seeking Justice at number three.
Justin Timberlake's In Time is not strictly new to the chart, but the previous version to prove popular was an R5 release, ripped from the actual film, rather than from a DVD or Blu-Ray disc.
The previous week's top choice, Johnny English Reborn was the fourth most downloaded movie. Further down, at number six is another new entry The Big Year. A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas is the last new entry at number nine.
