What was supposed to be a fabulous wedding, uniting the destinies of the movie stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has been postponed so many times that most people are betting that such a happy event will never take place.

As the rumor factory is permanently working, this just came in: Katie is having second thoughts about wedding the movie megastar. Only a few days after the first photos with the happy parents and their baby girl, Suri, Tom's publicist said that a wedding is simply pending in the air. He said in a statement that the two love birds will be tying the knot in a matter of weeks.

But Holmes was overheard saying at a party that 'I don't have my life anymore. I'm not comfortable', making room for speculation that, no matter what Cruise might say, he is a manipulative and control-freak of a partner. Plus, it is pretty well known that the 'War of the Worlds' star is against Katie's going back to work, a thing that she desperately wants to do in the near future.

A second source told 'The Daily Mail' that the situation with the TomKat couple is as follows: 'The wedding dress is bought. Tom's two adopted kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman will be there, but just where and when is up in the air. Katie is nervous about making a commitment to Tom and the early excitement of their love affair has worn off'.

So, a TomKat wedding in the near future? Don't hold your breath until then, though. Keep you posted.
