The Today Recreates the Royal Wedding for Halloween

So many people were talking about it earlier this year, but it seems that the Royal Wedding still has some going crazy over it. The Today people are among them.

After spoofing the Kardashians on the weekend edition, this morning, The Today went for something more royal: Kate Middleton's wedding to Prince Wiliams.

It took months to pull this together but one thing is certain: everyone involved had a lot of fun. They also made it work wonderfully.

Matt Lauer was Prince William while Anne Curry played the blushing bride, Kate Middleton.

Natalie Morales managed to steal the thunder with her take on the bridesmaid Pippa Middleton, and even managed to flirt with Prince Harry (Al Roker) a bit, gesturing him “call me.”

Gossip lovers would know that, right before and after the wedding, the tabloids were saying there was something more than friendship between Pippa and Harry.

Since no royal wedding would be complete without the Queen, Meredith Vieira made a surprise return as the British monarch.

Dressed in a canary yellow suit and accompanied by several small dogs, the Queen walked in smiling and waving at “the peasants” - and then exchanged kisses with all the other “guests.”

Of course, these also included Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, who got so much negative media after the actual event for their wacky hats and unmistakable fashion style.

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb played them for the Halloween Today show, and they even rocked hats that looked like the real thing, which had been designed by Phillip Tracey.

Theirs moved – the real hats probably didn't.

Last but not least, Savannah Guthrie came as Prince Charles, complete with large ears and stuffy eyebrows, but no Camilla Parker. Instead, “Charles” had with him a cardboard head in her likeness.
