Shortly after the first full official trailer caused a commotion online, the first character posters have been released, and, in keeping with the secrecy surrounding the appearance of the turtles, they focus on the turtle's weapons.
There are four character posters, each belonging to a turtle, and each one shows a green muscular hand, holding onto a ninja weapon. The photos found on Hypable show the attention being given to the armory of the mutated heroes and might also get fans excited.
However, there were some voices that complained about Michael Bay's take on the classic '80s story and compared it to the “Transformers” franchise. Quite a few people have also made negative comments about the new look of the turtles, which has been reinvented and is not in keeping with the original.
Now, the movie has been announced to be doing some reshoots, as Megan Fox and Will Arnett are heading back to the studio, and people are hoping that the mutants too are going to get a few modifications made, especially to their faces that some find they are a bit too human and not very “turtle-ly.”
The turtles are heading to a theater near you starting with August 8 this year.
