Microsoft is gearing up to offer users more free copies of Windows 7 and Office 2010, together with a 16 GB Zune HD Digital Media Player as a part of the Microsoft Windows Blog Recession Sweepstakes.

And given how the Redmond company has Windows sponsoring the dB Conference at the Decibel International Festival of Electronic Music, Digital Art and New Media, round six of the Windows Recession Sweepstakes is focused on Dave Pezzner.

“Dave Pezzner is one of our 4 Windows DJs and on tour in Australia and Japan until 20 September, but he took time out of his crazy tour schedule to send us this video of him spinning at the Triple Crown in San Francisco,” noted Microsoft’s Ashley Brown.

The video Brown mentions is embedded at the bottom of this article. But while it is indeed a great video, it is also a tad irrelevant to the sixth installment of the Windows Recession Sweepstakes.

“For the next 24 hours, Round 6 of the Windows Recession Sweepstakes is now open. Comments today are an open thread – let us know whatever’s on your mind,” Brown said.

Now, I want to make this perfectly clear to readers. In order to get a chance at winning some of the sweet gear that Microsoft is offering, the comments Brown mentions needs to be posted on this post on the Windows team blog.

As Brown notes, this time around there isn’t a particular topic related to the comments. End users can give input on whatever they want, and as long as the feedback is valid they will be considered for free copies of Windows 7 and Office 2010, as well as a 16 GB Zune HD Digital Media Player.

Also important to note is the fact that the Windows Recession Sweepstakes are available only to users in the United States.
