Chinese manufacturer Weu Yan has unveiled a new tablet, called the Surge Tab PH-101. What's special about this particular slate is its dual-booting capabilities combined with Bay Trail chips.

The 10-inch Surge Tab will be able to run two different operating systems, the Windows 8 and Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The new tablet houses a Quad Core Intel Celeron N2910 clocked at 1.6GHz with 32 GB of memory and 2GB of RAM. Users can opt for the 64GB with 4GB of RAM version as well.

The Surge Tab offers a resolution of 1280 x 800, which isn't spectacular but will be enough for text processing in Word or media streaming.  Liliputing claims that the price for the Surge Tab will probably be set around the $440 / €328 margin.

The model will most likely land exclusively in China and will become available starting this October.
