The same issue was spotted on the Surface RT as well

The Surface Pro is a major upgrade to the standard RT tablet, but even though it comes with improved hardware and software, they seem to be affected by the same bugs.

While some users have already confirmed that their Pro tablets suffer from limited or no Wi-Fi connectivity issues, others are now revealing that the Windows 8 logo placed on the kickstand is quickly wearing off.

The same problem had been spotted on the Surface RT as well, but some consumers managed to get their tablets replaced at local Microsoft stores.

Microsoft hasn’t issued a statement on the affected Surface Pro tablets, but the company is very likely to replace these ones too, so you’re highly recommended to contact the nearest store as soon as possible.

As for reducing the wear on the back of the tablet, you have basically no other option than to purchase a protective sleeve specifically designed for the Surface tablet.
