There's no doubt that the Surface Pro 3 is clearly an outstanding tablet in terms of hardware specifications, even though it's a little bit too expensive, but there still are some things that could please buyers.

One of them is the battery. The Surface Pro 3 comes with a 42 watt-hour battery that can provide up to 9 hours of browsing autonomy, according to Microsoft's own figures, which probably means that you can work on it for around 6 hours without worrying that you're running out of power.

The Surface team, however, has revealed in an AMA session on Reddit that the Surface 3 recharges very fast, so it shouldn’t be such a big problem that battery doesn't last more than that. How fast? According to their own preliminary figures, the Surface Pro 3 battery can recharge to 80 percent of its capacity in 2 hours.

If you're trying to get a full battery, you need up to 4 hours, the team said in a short post.

The Surface Pro 3 sure comes with impressive hardware specs, starting with Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors, and ending with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. The battery also needs to feed a 12-inch screen with resolutions of up to 2880x1800 pixels in the top-of-the-range configuration.
