The exciting Australian contest rolled out by Google, which invited the local fans of the company to design their own Doodle and publish them on the web, has chosen its top 32 designs sent by the participants. In case you missed the news and you don't know what Doodle 4 Google is, you should
know that it is a contest especially addressed to the Australian students who were asked to design their own Google logo based on the "My Australia" theme. Until now, the Mountain View-based company received thousands of doodles as Ashley Gorringe, Doodle4Google Team, stated, but only 32 of them were selected for the final stage of the competition.
For example, numerous users sent designs based on animals, beach, barbecues and indigenous art as you can see from the official page of the contest. "We received thousands of entries, from which our expert judging panel had the challenging job of selecting the top 32, one from each age group in the eight states and territories. Our judges included Dare Jennings, cofounder of Mambo Surfwear, Geoff Buckley, managing director of Tourism Australia and Michael Grose, parenting and educational expert", the Google official mentioned above wrote on the official blog.
At this time, the company asks for your help in order to vote for your favorite doodle and help the super giant choose the best model. The voting process is available in the next four months so hurry up and select the best design. "You'll be able to vote for your favourite doodle over the next four weeks. We encourage you to check out the amazing creativity of Australian students and choose your favourite in each age category", Ashley Gorringe added.
