iCarta from Atech

One could say that the iPod has become somewhat of a synonym with the concept of "portable music player", and the huge success enjoyed by Apple's device has generated a true avalanche of accessories developed especially for it, one stranger than the other. However, what you're about to see tops them all, since the iCarta from Atech combines an iPod-compatible audio system with...a bath tissue holder.

Developed in order to let the users enjoy their favorite songs even when using the toilet, the iCarta includes 4 moisture-resisting speakers (2 tweeters for highs and 2 woofers for lows), which, according to the manufacturer's statement, offer a very clear and high quality sound. Moreover, the iCarta also works with docking stations which can charge the iPod while in use.

The iCarta occupies a little bit more space than the average tissue holders, having dimensions of 210mm x 93mm x 181mm, and is powered via an AC adapter. The device is compatible with all the iPod models with docking stations, but, by using certain adapters, it can also be connected to other types of portable players. Well, even if it would seem a bit silly at first, I really don't believe that the iCarta could prove to be quite a success, especially among the hardcore iPod fans who love their iPods so much that they can't go anywhere without them.
