'90s kids will surely freak out upon hearing this but it's looking more and more like the Spice Girls reunion will be happening, despite the fact that Victoria Beckham wants to have nothing more to do with singing or the stage.

Victoria has spoken on the issue on several occasions, and on each one she was careful to slam the rumors and innuendos, being unequivocally clear that she does not intend to make her comeback to the stage, as she is very happy as an obscure fashion designer and a famous trend setter.

But since there is so much money as stake here (after all, all those '90s kids should be employed by now and willing to fork over serious dough for concert tickets), it's very likely that a Spice Girls reunion will take place.

In fact, it could be a better alternative to the original five girls line-up. Heat Magazine quotes Backstreet Boys member Brian Litrell, who says, “We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls.”

Bam! There it is! All the people featured on the posters you've had on your bedroom walls while growing up will be on the same stage, for a massive reunion. We don't have to mention just how epic such a reunion would be, do we?

So, at the moment, it looks like Brian Litrell has singlehandedly improved your entire week by 80%, which is the amount of the original band that is getting back together for the reunion.

As far as the other members are concerned, they've all expressed their delight at getting the Spice Girls reformed and all declared they were not only up for a new world tour, but also for a new album and new songs.

The last one to reiterate her willingness to rejoin the Spice Girls was Mel C, who said in an interview, “The other four of us would love to get back up on stage,” adding further fuel to the reunion rumors.

Excited fans last got a glimpse of the complete line-up of the girls on stage during the London 2012 Olympics, when the Spice Girls performed at the closing ceremony and medley of their greatest hits, proving that they had become part of the British pop culture.

The only thing left to do is hope that peer pressure and public attention, not to mention lots of money, will be enough to convince grumpy Victoria to go back on her promise and take her place as the fifth member of the girl band that rocked the charts, concert halls, and the hearts of teenage boys and girls.
