The Spice Girls' Lesbian Turn

I guess there is no such thing as 'straight' anymore...

I remember once watching a very funny TV show and rolling on the floor laughing during a particular scene, in which two very sexy ladies were having an argument and were screaming at each other, much to the discomfort of a room full of men. And so, at one point, one of the characters mutters to himself "This fight is distracting every male, lesbian and bisexual person in the room". Well, I personally thought that was the funniest punch line I had heard all evening - you may not share my enthusiasm for it, but you'll definitely admit that it's quite relevant in the context of the next piece of news - which concerns one of the Spice Girls revealing that the girls have in fact all shared girl-on-girl kisses with each other.

As I was saying, this piece of news definitely distracted every male, lesbian and bisexual person in the office, in the sense that we were soon overwhelmed by a whole lot of people arguing back and forth about who is most likely to have kissed who, how many times and whether the kissing eventually led to some more, rather hard-core action withing the all-girl group. We didn't reach a very solid decision yet, but in the end - that's not the point, is it? The point is that Mel C. revealed to Cosmopolitan that the girls are not as shy with each other as we may have thought - or at least they don't hate each other's guts so badly that they won't alow for a little kiss now and again.

"I have never kissed a girl in a sexual way apart from jokingly with the Spice Girls. A few of them have swapped kisses. But that's as far as it went, as far as I know - when I was in the room anyway" said Mel C. And somehow, I don't think that she just let that slip. So, as I see it, there are two possibilities: one, it's all a publicity stunt (as I was saying, aimed at enticing people and sparking up lingering lesbian fantasies), and two, it's true, which means the Spices might just have gotten a little too hot to swallow.
