Serious power on the go

When I have seen the T-Amp for the very first time I couldn't believe why hasn't this idea come in my head earlier: a portable Hi-Fi amp for those discerning music lovers who really care about their sound and who are almost all the time the first ones to buy high-quality audio portable players so they can enjoy very serious acoustics on the move.[admark=1]

Well, it seems that this ultra-cool idea has successfully avoided my brain and hit the guys at Sonic Impact instead; and even more, it materialized in the body of the Class T Digital Amplifier Gen 2.

Besides the absolutely cool look, this amps sports some of the most coveted characteristics around: true portability thanks to its small dimensions and lightweight construction, exceptional sound, serious power (a 30W combined drive to really get you going), 4 and 8 Ohms outputs and the coolest, iciest of all things: it works on batteries! Adding in the absolutely great price, there you go: you have the perfect X-Mass gift for the music lover.

Now, imagine all the things you can do with this portable amp, from a damn loud picnic to instant party with the music on your cell phone! This amp sports a Class T circuitry ensuring small weight, small dimensions, excellent tone and high power output to accompany you anywhere.

In case you still think this is just a piece of crap, guess what: at medium volumes it sports true audiophile characteristics, with 0.04% total harmonic distortions... a value you'll most likely not meet in the price range. The Class T Digital Amplifier Gen 2 sports a single potentiometer with an eerie purple-blue light which looks completely pro, while the case design is unobtrusive and breathes refined class.

As for the powering-issue, you can use it at home with the supplied wall-adapter; when on the go, just load 8 AA-type batteries in it and there you have your own real amp in your backpack. Now, for the final blast: how does a price around $50 sound to you? Since Sonic Impact have dealers in many European countries, I guess I'll get a T-Amp for myself.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
