Do you have problems organizing your fridge, and you simply can't remember which of the products are still eatable and which aren't, but in the same time you don't want to throw all of them away? Well, that's exactly the type of situation the Timestrip has been designed for, as this is the most innovative method of seeing just how old a certain product is, and whether it's still fit for human consumption.

Timestrips are single-use, disposable, smart-labels, which automatically monitor lapsed time, ranging from under 1 day to 6 months. The technology behind the revolutionary Timestrip works by capillary action, allowing a tinted liquid to migrate through a micro-porous material at a consistent rate. Moreover, the Timestrips don't require any kind of special handling, since all the users have to do is to just simply peel off the backing paper, squeeze the bubble at the back of the Timestrip and apply it to the packaging of your product. The first window will let the user know it has been activated and the Timestrip will begin showing how long the food has been opened.

Timestrip isn't exactly a huge novelty, since it's already being used in professional kitchens across the world, but this product hasn't yet conquered the home market. As for its utility, I do believe that it's quite obvious, especially for those persons who have a very tough time organizing their fridge.
