Small and lightweight

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a big LCD or Plasma TV, you can consider buying a projector that offers a significantly bigger image and doesn't tale up a lot of space. And if you are a businessman and you must carry around daily a projector, you already know that its weight can spoil your day.

After launching the biggest PDP, LCD and DLP TVs, Samsung has also launched the smallest DLP projector. The device weights only 907 grams and measures 101 x 152 x 50 mm, being the smallest DLP projector on the market. But its size has also disadvantages, because the new projector offers only 800 X 600 pixels resolution, with a 35 lumen light source. The projector is optimized for screening 40 or 50 inch images.

Although the new projector's performances seem minimal opposite its bigger brothers, you must consider its reduced size and the fact that its batteries can fuel a two hour long presentation without powering from an external source.

The little projector has different applicability, from watching DVDs in large format to small group presentations. The new projector will be available on the market beginning January 2006.
