The modders Zbyl2, DarthStoney, Hassat Hunter, VarsityPuppet and their collaborators have announced the launch of the The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod version 1.8 for Knights of the Old Republic II, the BioWare-made title that was launched in 2004.

Ever since the action role-playing game was first launched, fans have noticed a number of internal inconsistencies and have also found signs that the development team had cut a lot of content from the game before launch.

Modders sought to solve the issues and The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod was maybe the most ambitious of them, working on restoring elements of the game based on limited information from the game files and statements from the development team.

The 1.8 version of the mod includes more cutscenes, new adventures, more dialog options and integrates all the restored content with the end-game of Knights of the Old Republic II.

A full changelog and a download link are available on the official mod page.
