The Sims Castaway Brings You the Jungle

- The third title in the Stories series has been launched by EA

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

The Sims Castaway Stories is the latest installment of the Sims franchise and, more specific, the third in the Sims Stories sub genre, if we can call it like this.
The game is now available in retail stores all over the Europe and it promises to be really entertaining for both the experienced and the new players. Which makes me wonder: do "new" players in the Sims world really exist?

For the first time ever on PC your sim will leave the urban jungle for a real one – an uncharted island that could be as well considered a real Paradise, since it is filled with sandy beaches, green lagoons and volcanic mountains. The story unfolds and we meet Jessica Daydream, the real sim castaway. With nothing more than orangutans, fish and all kinds of plants around her, she begins her adventure on the tropical island where she will have to choose if she wants to survive or escape.

Of course you won't be alone on the island – you will soon find out that there are natives and other castaways who hope to create a flourishing community. So it is up to you if this will happen or completely fail. To do this, Jessica must accomplish various tasks – from spear fishing and scavenger hunting to fire starting and more.

"We’re very excited to bring the rich, beautifully tropical environments to players with The Sims Castaway Stories. Whether you’re roaming around the lush green jungles in search of the perfect coconut, or taking an ocean dip in search of your next meal, The Sims Castaway Stories is the perfect way to experience island life on your laptop," said Rod Humble, Head of The Sims Studio. "Available for the first time on the PC, The Sims Castaway Stories also comes with the traditional open-ended The Sims gameplay, so you can continue following the life your Sim has created!"
