Maxis and EA have offered even more details about The Sims 4, their upcoming life simulation experience, confirming that it will have an augmented Build mode, not to mention an easy transition between neighborhoods and worlds, as players can swap from one to another in just a short loading screen.

The Sims 4 is currently in the middle of a heated debate as the community of players isn't that thrilled that some core features from The Sims 3 aren't making a comeback in the new experience.

Developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts have already pledged to try and fit as many old features as possible in the next game, but they did confirm the lack of swimming pools or toddlers.

Now, the two companies have underlined the great new Build mode that's been augmented with a series of new features to make up for the lack of older ones.

"Build Mode truly is the most powerful, and fun, Build Mode we’ve ever created. While it’s not possible for us to include every single feature and piece of content we added to The Sims 3 over the last 5 years, we’ve added features that you’ve asked for and that offer a whole new intuitive and fun way to build," the studio said on its website.

"These are features like Wall Height Adjustment, Dynamic Foundation Sizing, and Smart Windows! And though pool building won’t be available in September, we do have a new Fountain Tool so you can create sophisticated landscapes."

While the Build mode was already showcased at E3 2014 earlier this month, Maxis also went a bit in-depth about the new neighborhood and world system that allows players to move their Sims around with much ease and with just a short loading screen.

"Did you know that for the first time ever in The Sims, your Sims will be able to not only travel between Neighborhoods, but also between entire Worlds without having to start a new game!?"

"Neighborhoods and Worlds will be separated by a short load screen, but for the first time you’ll be able to live in one world and work (or play) in another! All of your Sim’s personality, accomplishments, and relationships stay with them as they travel around the best play-space we’ve ever created in a The Sims game."

The Sims 4 is set to debut in early September for PC, and you can expect to hear much more about the game until then, as both EA and Maxis want to make sure the legions of fans are hyped ahead of its release.
