14 DAY TRIAL // The official minimum and recommended PC system specs for The Sims 4 have been revealed, and while it doesn't take a lot to actually run the upcoming game, the recommended requirements are pretty steep.
The Sims franchise has enjoyed a lot of popularity with a wide range of gamers on the PC platform, largely due to the fact that the game can be played and enjoyed on a multitude of different configurations.
With The Sims 4, Electronic Arts and Maxis aren't messing with the formula. The two companies have posted the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming game on the official website and they're pretty reasonable.
The minimum specifications don't require all that much and even allow the game to be played on computers with the old Windows XP operating system.
However, the recommended specifications for those who really want to enjoy the game in all its glory are pretty steep, needing a 64-bit Windows operating system, a fast processor, and a pretty beefy video card. Fortunately, the hard drive space requirement is unchanged and pretty reasonable at around 10GB.

The Sims 4 launches on September 4 worldwide for PC via the Origin platform.
