The console version of hit PC and Mac game The Sims 3 has just received a few more details, this time concerning the pre-order bonuses that will be offered to those who reserve their copy before the title arrives at the end of October.

After achieving impressive sales on the PC and Mac OS X platforms, The Sims 3 is now getting ready to invade consoles, including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS.

Those who want to commit to purchasing the console version of The Sims 3 will be on the receiving end of some interesting pre-order bonuses.

When the game will start, customers who pre-ordered it will automatically receive the "Get Lucky" karma power, which, as you can clearly guess, puts luck on your side in the virtual adventures of your character.

Besides the karma power, you will also unlock the "Ultra Lounge Bundle" decorations sets, which includes a flat panel TV, modern furniture and décor items, as well as other accessories to decorate your character's home with.

Last but not least, those who pre-order The Sims 3 on consoles will also be getting two special cars for their in-game character: an American muscle car and a European exotic sports car.

“We’re bringing players the best console and handheld game for The Sims franchise to date and are excited to offer a unique experience for all types of gamers on their platform of choice,” explained Sam Player, Executive Producer at EA, when the console version of The Sims 3 was announced.

“Building on the unique traits system, living open neighborhood, lifetime wishes, and endless customization options, we’ve tailored each platform of The Sims 3 with exclusive features to allow for even more control, creativity, and connectivity.”

The Sims 3 console edition will be available all around the world, for the platforms mentioned above, starting on October 26.
