Electronic Arts is ready to deliver three big expansion packs for The Sims 3 in the coming 12 months and the first of them to arrive is University Life, a March release that will allow players to go back to school and acquire a virtual higher education.
Sims characters will get unique actions based on their college major and will then also get a boost in initial wage offers and in earning power once they finish their studies.
University Life also includes big parties, ranging from bonfires to juice keg stands, designed to create networks and allow each character to link his interests with one of the three main groups, Nerds, Rebels or Jocks.
There are also new actions to try out and a whole new town to explore, complete with comic book shop and coffeehouse.
Pre-orders for The Sims 3 University Life gets players a Party pack Bundle and the Parataeus Maximus statue.
