Electronic Arts and its Sims development team are announcing that they have released a new add on for the game allowing those playing the title to customize their experience even more. The fresh Create a World Tool, which is still in beta stage, is free and allows gamers to actually make complete cities in which they can then place their characters in search of new adventures.

Players who are interested in the Create a World tool need to register their The Sims 3 game on the official site in order to get access to the download and once they are satisfied with the new areas that they have put together, they can use the same site to actually share their creations with other players, creating new areas faster than the development team working on The Sims ever could.

One of the big draws of Create a World is the possibility to actually use the Sunset Valley and the Riverview cities as the template and then add their own changes. Designs that have been created in other programs, like Photoshop, can be used in the new tool in order to provide unique features to the fresh Sims worlds.

Electronic Arts is also saying that players of The Sims 3 and its World Adventures expansion can now shop for new objects directly from within the game, using the new Shop Mode. As fresh stuff is bought from the Store added to the game even if it’s running out of and becomes immediately available to players to use on their characters and in their houses.

The Sims 3 is one of the biggest releases of the year for Electronic Arts and offered a significant upgrade over the experience delivered by previous titles, with more life style options, easier control over the characters and more freedom to roam around and create interesting stories.
