EA recently released a major update for the amazingly popular The Simpsons: Tapped Out game for Android devices.

Aside from the new buildings, characters, decorations, quests, and mini-games added, EA included the ability to sync all progress over Origin.

This feature has been available for the iOS version of the game for quite some time, and it enabled players to enjoy the game on multiple platforms.

Well, it appears that the update was not improving the game for everyone, as many players complained that their games had been deleted completely.

The good news is this issue does not affect all players, which would have been a disaster for EA, especially that many have already invested real life money in building their towns just to see them being erased.

AndroidPolice reports EA is already aware of this issue and is looking into a solution that will make things right for players who lost their towns. For more information on this problem check out EA’s forum.
