EA Mobile has just released a new update for its smash hit The Simpsons: Tapped Out city builder for Android devices. The update seems to remove the Christmas-related content added last month and possibly adds some new features.

The official changelog also hints at new updates that will bring new characters, missions and more stuff for players to juggle with. Check out below the full details of this update:

“The sewers are clogged with illegally-dumped Christmas trees, and melted snow has revealed several new unsolved murders. It can only mean one thing: the Holidays are over in Springfield and a new year of Tapped Out characters, quests, and donuts await.”

You can now download The Simpsons: Tapped Out for Android 4.6.2 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with most devices running Android 2.3.3 and up.
