"D'oh", says Homer now on mobile phones too. "The Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown" game will be available on mobile phones everywhere for fans of this animation characters everywhere to enjoy.

Electronic Arts has worked with Fox Mobile Entertainment in order to design this game exclusively for mobile phones. It manages to bring Homer, Bart, Apu and the entire crowd of funny characters from the original Simpsons animation. Their image is well known by a huge number of people, which gives a head start to the mobile game on its way to success.

The game asks from the player to guide Homer in a race against the clock through Springfield in order to stop a meltdown at the town's Nuclear Power Plant.

"The fantastic thing about The Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown is that, in addition to capturing the energy and humor of the series, you can play it anywhere, anytime", observed Denise Sirkot, executive vice president of Gracie Films. Moreover, she stated that "Just as we did with The Simpsons movie, we waited until we had the right product for fans before creating a mobile game".

"The Simpsons TV show has been aired in more than 50 countries across the world until now. This makes it highly probable to manage to gain some fans in its mobile game version too. "Fans of The Simpsons and gamers alike are going to love Minutes to Meltdown. It's easy-to-use but hard-to-master and provides you a chance to experience life in Springfield", declared Mitch Feinman, SVP, Fox Mobile Entertainment.

"The Simpsons: Minutes to Meltdown" is now available to download from major wireless carriers in North America and Europe as well as on the web via Jamster. The game basically relies on the TV show's popularity and on the charm of the characters.
