It's never been done before and never been seen, a continuous broadcasting of all the episodes of the longest animation series in the history of television, “The Simpsons.” FXX is just about ready to start the broadcast of the 552 episodes of the show and thus get the attention of the world.

There are so many episodes in the series that it's going to take the network a full 12 days and 12 nights of continuous broadcast to air them all in what is certainly a historical moment in television history.

As the hours wind down and we draw ever closer to the beginning of the epic marathon, more and more outlets are giving their readers juicy tidbits to lookout for in the show that has been airing for decades and is bound to stump some of the audience with their out-of-date pop culture references.

Others, more practical, are giving people advice on how to make the most of the marathon and be able to last as long as possible. We're going to tell you that there's no safe way to make it through without doing some damage to your health, so you might as well live with it.

Rolling Stone, for example, offers a comprehensive episode guide so that you know which episodes are worth watching and which ones you can sleep over.
