The famous Simpson sisters Jessica, 25, and Ashlee, 20, got into trouble in their youth - for wearing skimpy bikinis to church. The singers, whose father was a pastor, used to go to church in swimsuits and tiny shorts.
"When we were in church work my daughters wore bikinis and short shorts. People in the church got mad at me then, but we believe that what's in the heart is more important than what's on the outside", says Joe Simpson, the minister turned manager, quoted by US gossip website The Scoop.
Meanwhile, Jessica, the elder sister, who is married to to Nick Lachey, has recently declared she used to be embarrassed about her breasts - but now she is proud of them as they make her cloths look better.
Ashlee, who is also satisfied with her looks, is now very preoccupied with theVMA Viewers Choice Videodome Battle as her single "Pieces of Me" fights Destiny's Child f/T.I. "Soldier".
