The Simplest Drawing App for Your iPhone, iPad

Talented or not, people like to draw. Tens of thousands of years ago we used to do it on cave walls. Now we have iPhones, and there’s a new app now called Drwer, which makes sketching on your iDevice super easy and fun.

Drawing apps are usually simple, but few are simpler than Tanner Christensen’s new Drwer for iPhone and iPad.

Drwer lets you start scribbling before you even realize the app is on. You get two brush sizes, the ability to use a grid overlay, quick saving to your photo library, and a double-tap-to-erase feature that lets you take up a blank sheet without having to relaunch the app.

You can only sketch with black ink for now, but colors are probably on their way in the next update.

Drwer is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The universal app is optimized for iPhone 5 and sells for just $0.99 / €0.89.
