The Shroud Brings Dark Adventures to AT&T

Gamevil USA and Your World Games have announced the availability of a revolutionary mobile game called The Shroud, a RPG (role playing game) set to bring a unique adventure to mobile gamers.

Unfortunately, the new title is only available in the US and only via AT&T, hence users who are customers of other mobile carriers will not be able to enjoy the game.

The Shroud is the story of Taro, a young boy who lives in a peaceful region that hides a terrifying secret. In a mine near Taro's farm, farmers have discovered a secret gateway to another dimension called The Shroud. This dimension is where, thousands of years earlier, people have exiled the "most evil creatures in the universe" which exist "only to destroy the things mankind loves." Now these creatures have found a way out of The Shroud and the whole world is in danger.

Only Taro has what it takes to defeat all the unleashed monsters and close the gateway to The Shroud. Besides fighting monsters, during the game you will have to take care of labors like harvesting, fishing or mining - which will help you raise funds, needed in order to better prepare for the war with the evil creatures.

The Shroud also has multiplayer features, which require a connection to AT&T's network: the International Farmers' League (IFL), allowing you to compete against real opponents, and the Mines, which asks you to complete special quests.

Coming after Gamevil has released, back in May, another two cool games, namely My Monster Pet and Golf Superstars, The Shroud is said to be available from AT&T as of now.
