Video game developer Arrowhead Game Studios and publisher Paradox Interactive are delivering a new trailer for their upcoming The Showdown Effect, which uses a well-known waltz, The Blue Danube, and slow motion to show the awesome moves that players can perform in the new title.
The developers state, “There is a strange and pure heart that shines forth when the action is presented in slow-motion and set to waltz music.”
The Showdown Effect is a 2.5D action title that allows players to choose a character, customize him and then throw him in a fight that includes bladed weapons and long range firearms.
Players will be able to enjoy a range of moves as they try to outsmart and outmaneuver their enemies while shouting one-liners taken from the best-known ‘80s action movies.
The Showdown Effect is set to launch on the PC tomorrow.
