Stirring in the mug (whether we're talking about a coffee cup, a tea cup, or any other type of cup, for that matter) is an activity which
many people really hate (especially if it's very early in the morning), while others simply adore it. But since the number of people that can be included in the first category is quite high, Hammacher Schlemmer has launched a very useful device developed especially for them, namely the Self-Stirring Mug.
The system consists of a miniature battery-operated propeller placed on the bottom of the mug, which, by simply pressing a button, starts spinning at 3,000 rpms, thus mixing quite easy almost any type of liquid. Moreover, the mug also has a lid, which prevents the liquid inside from spilling, but also maintains it at a constant temperature.
The Self-Stirring Mug is manufactured out of plastic covered with an external coating of stainless steel, is powered by 2 AA batteries and has a very low weight, of just 127 grams, which allows its user to easily carry it around just about anywhere.
