Jerry Seinfeld, George Constanza, and Newman are together again on the small screen

For weeks, we’ve been hearing stuff about a planned “Seinfeld” reunion which, though only partial, would bring together some of the stars of one of the biggest sitcoms of modern times. Said reunion happened at the Super Bowl 2014.

However, the bad news is that it wasn’t a reunion per se and it definitely had nothing to do with “Seinfeld” except for the fact that it featured 3 beloved characters, Seinfeld, George Constanza, and Newman.

The “reunion” was actually an ad to boost interest in Jerry’s new online show, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” and while that might be a disappointment, it was still great to see part of the old gang together, if only for such a short while.

If you call yourself a fan of the series, I’m sure you will have no trouble recognizing the place Jerry and George visit for lunch because it’s the same Tom’s restaurant featured during the show’s 9-year run.

Seinfeld himself confirmed the “reunion,” saying it was a “secret project” of his. However, he did say that people should not jump to conclusions about what it might entail, and I guess now we know why.
