Developer Funcom has announced that all those players who buy the MMO The Secret World during the weekend and have taken part in the free trial that was run on the previous weekend will be able to claim 1,200 free points.
The package can then be used to get access to a number of items, all of them cosmetic in nature but highly praised by the community that has been created around The Secret World.
The fact that The Secret World is already pushing out this kind of offers might mean that the MMO has failed to attract the expected number of players in the month since it has been launched.
The game is using a subscription based model.
The core game experience focuses on familiar combat mechanics but also on a number of mysteries and puzzles that the gamers are encouraged to solve suing in game clues and real world research.
