What the Budweiser ad team doesn't want you to know

The Puppy Love commercial Budweiser aired during the Super Bowl halftime was an event in itself. The beer commercial, that had nothing to do with beer and everything to do with playing on people's emotions, became an internet sensation and managed to gather millions of views.

However, there is one thing that the producers of the commercial don't want you to find out: the fact that love story between the horse and the dog was all an act. In total, 8 puppies were used for filming the spot and 17 Clydesdales horses.

The doubles were paired for each individual scene because “Each of the puppies and horses were trained to do specific talents. So like one puppy dug under the fence, one nuzzled the horse, one walked with the group of horses, etc. Same with the horses.”

This piece of news probably breaks your heart, but sadly, it's the truth. On the set, the horses and the dogs simply didn't spend enough time together to become friends in real life, MTV reports, which isn't to say that such a special bond couldn't happen in real life.

There have been previous cases of Clydesdales horses becoming friends with Golden Labradors, which is why the producers of the commercial chose these particular two species for their campaign.< />
