The second trailer for the action movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” has just been released and has added a little bit of eye candy to the first one, with a series of previously unseen film footage. The first half of the trailer is basically a reiteration of the first version, but the second half adds new scenes with the turtles.

The trailer also offers brief glances at other important characters in the story, such as Master Splinter, who can be seen twirling a katana in his hand, getting ready to meet with some unknown foe, as well as Shredder, the main villain of the movie.

The voiceover describes the situation, “Crime, violent, and fear have run rampant. Our great city is being destroyed. People want justice restored to this world. People want heroes, Miss O'Neil. But heroes are not born, they're created. That's what your father and I are trying to do - create hero.”

However, probably the most important thing is that we get a better look at the turtles. Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo all show up doing all sorts of crazy things like jumping off buildings, riding skateboards, skiing down slopes and fighting baddies where they find them.

Of course, the scene where Megan Fox gives the most unconvincing fainting scene in the history of film is also included. The Michael Bay-produced film is due to be released in theaters on August 8 this year.
