Watch Dwayne Johnson clear the ancient world of evil monsters

The first thing you notice when you watch the first full trailer for the upcoming “Hercules: The Thracian Wars” is that Hercules, aka The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson, has perfect teeth in a time when toothbrushes weren't invented and washing your hands before lunch was considered a pansy thing to do.

After you get over the pearly white teeth of the protagonist, you're going to start noticing that the ancient world depicted in the movie is full of evil creatures that are more at home in your nightmares: there are giant lions, giant boars, three-headed snakes and zombie armies that shoot straight out of the ground to attack you.

Amidst all of this, the imposing frame of The Rock looks small in comparison, but he somehow manages to make up for it with brute force and deafening shouting of his name.

As Hercules slays monsters left and right, the voiceover can be heard, “No matter how far you go, man cannot escape his fate. Who are you? Are you a murderer? Are you a mercenary who turns his back on the innocent?”

Despite the fact that the movie focuses on the life of the demi-god, after his famous 12 Labors, the trailer seems to present exactly that part of his life, which is somewhat disappointing because fans were keen to pick up facts about the plot, but the producers have something else in mind.
