If you’re looking for a one-in-a-lifetime type of experience, a stay or a visit at the world’s tallest hotel is a must. The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong is just that and, as of today, it is open to the public.

Imagine state-of-the-art technology used in every room, with amenities that can satisfy even the most pretentious tastes out there and views to die for, and you get this brand new luxury hotel.

As the Daily Mail puts it, it’s also the fourth tallest building in the world, and strives to offer visitors a unique experience – one that they will hopefully want to repeat as soon as possible.

“It offers a bird’s eye view of one of the most spectacular skylines in the world,” the Mail says of the hotel.

Indeed, wherever you are in it, you get fantastic views and rooms even come equipped with telescopes, should you happen to want to have a closer look.

As if that wasn’t enough, all rooms come with floor to ceiling windows, just so you can make the most of the majestic view. And that’s not all.

“Should the visitor get bored of staring at Hong Kong’s glittering towers from the eyrie of their hotel room window, there are always other distractions,” the Mail says.

“These come in the form of six restaurants, a sky-high spa with floor-to-ceiling windows and an indoor infinity pool overlooking the iconic harbor,” says the British publication.

Each restaurant is themed: the Italian, for instance, is open-kitchen and offers killer Italian and Mediterranean dishes.

“Should those fail to amuse, there’s always the 93,000 square meters shopping mall,” the Mail points out.

Before you get to the mall, though, you might want to know the hotel also includes something called The Chocolate Library, which, yes, is exactly what it sounds.

It offers all types of chocolate treats and is open at all hours of the day. After this, you might want to try OZONE, world’s highest bar, which also has a terrace which is bound to make your night cap something you will always remember.

“We have been able to create truly spectacular so we can welcome our guests not just to the tallest hotel in the world, but also to one of the very best hotels in the world. We are taking luxury to new heights in every sense,” Herve Humler, president of the Ritz Carlton hotel chain, says.
