The French magazine SVM has found out from a discussion with a Microsoft France official the release dates for the next OS, Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7.

According to the French magazine, Windows Vista's Beta 2 is scheduled for the
first week of this year's December, the final release being scheduled for September or October 2006.

IE 7's Beta 2 should come out in September and the final version is scheduled to appear together with Windows Vista.

Although the name of the Microsoft France official is not mentioned, the information seems to be in accordance with the latest rumors. Microsoft said many times that Windows Vista will be ready for the 2006 holiday season.

Internet Explorer's Beta 2 is highly expected by the analysts, the first version being a disappointment.

More information and details on Microsoft's response can be found at Vnunet.com.
