I'm annoyed by Blu-Ray's security because I don't think that movie studios should be the only ones deciding what format will our movies have after the DVD's demise and by the fact that I'll have change my DVD-RW device one year after I bought it because the standard will change so drastically that I will have to reach into my pocket and purchase a BD-ROM device for the PC and another Blu-Ray Player.
And in a
way, I pity Blu-Ray which is trying so hard to give hackers something to do, because AACS, with or without special features, will probably last a little bit longer than CSS, but not forever.
And I'm also annoyed that will have to write about the person responsible for the cracking of the Blu-Ray protection code.
I'm also annoyed that, from my personal experience and from others', I know that the more complicated and more complex a thing is the more it will be prone to damages and malfunctioning.
The most annoying is that I will have to wait another few years before I can burn a BD-ROM, because given the outrageous prices, I won't be able to convince myself to pay for such a disc, when I know I can buy more DVDs for the same amount.
I'm also annoyed by HD-DVD's supporters, who are taking too long to launch their format or the players for it and I'm angry that I'll have to go through tons of documentation so can I finally figure out which of the two formats is the best.
I'm also annoyed by the neverending dispute between the two formats, and the worst part is that they're not proclaiming the winner once and for all, so I know what product to buy.
Above all, I'm annoyed that we don't have yet the holographic storage and the 1 TB disc.
