We have to play monogamy and fidelity to have a happy family life, even if we are craving for an adventure. Now French lovebirds have got a solution: a company that offers the perfect professional bogus alibi to be brought face to face with their official partners. The Belgian-based company is headed by Regine Mourizard, a retired female detective and gives the would-be adulterers the cover scenarios in order to enjoy their moments of passion without the fear of being caught
in the act.
"You need to justify your absence to your entourage, to your relatives, for whatever reason. You are stifling in you family set-up and want to have a breather without creating discord. You want to experience a brief encounter without endangering your family life or your marriage. We have a range of services," stipulates the company at its
home page.
A saving phone call for a fake meeting will cost 19 Euro ($ 27), but the company also provides false wedding invitations, postcards, seminar brochures or restaurant bills.
Jacqueline, a French driving instructor, was desperate to spend one night of passion with a former lover coming from America after a 10 year absence but the "very strict" husband was an obstacle.
"I couldn't admit to him this sudden desire to see for one last time, this man who had made my heart beat so hard," she told Le Parisien.
Alibilia solved the issue: a call from a bogus student in desperate need of a driving lesson while she was watching TV with her husband.
Michelle, mother of two "excessively possessive" children could not go out with her new boyfriend without causing them a cascade of tears. So she received "call" from a woman asking her to go back to work to finish a file.
Still, most of the clients are men, and so far the company has had 50 customers. One man looking for a vacation with his lover on a paradise island received a false wedding invitation from a "distant cousin".
"The company would not break the law by providing false identity papers, for example. We only provide our clients with materiel so they can organize their private lies. I was a detective for years and spent my time disproving alibis. Then one day I decided to help those who, until that time, I had hindered from doing what they desired. I understood that people sometimes feel the need to create space for moments just for themselves, to escape." said Regine Mourizard, the company's director.
