The Pokemon Company has announced the results of the 2011 Pokemon Video Game United States National Championships, announcing the names of the 24 players that will go on to represent the nation at the upcoming Video Game World Championships, where they will face off against other gamers coming from Japan, Europe and South Korea.

There are 3 age categories and those who took part in the United States competition were selected after qualifying rounds held in seven cities earlier in the year, with more than 500 people taking part in the finals.

All the games played were powered by Pokemon Black and White, which was launched for the Nintendo DS platform and quickly became one of the biggest hits in the franchise.

Here are the final results of the United States National Championship for Pokemon:

Juniors
