Modder Eddie Zarick is known in the world of tech as an oddity. He likes making laptops, strange ones. A few months ago we told you about his Xbox 360 and Xbox One mashup, which resulted into the massive Xbook Duo laptop.
He also build a custom-made PS4 laptop, but the latest project Zarick embarked on was a personal request from one of his customers.
Well, this time around Zarick did the imaginable and combined a PlayStation 4 and one Xbox One into the hardcore machine you see in the gallery.
The laptop relies on a switch that allows users to swap between consoles at will. There’s a slight caveat in the fact that you won’t be able to power both consoles at the same time, but that’s a way to by-pass serious overheating problems.
Zarick says that, in its current condition, the laptop does not come with cooling issues. Actually, the PlayBox, which takes advantage of a 22-inch Vizio display, is said to work like a charm.
As we mentioned above, the laptop has been custom build for a customer and it’s not for sale. However, at some point, Zarick might consider building more devices such as this if he gets requests from serious customers.
