14 DAY TRIAL // After the critical success that was “Blue Valentine,” Ryan Gosling has teamed up again with director Derek Cianfrance for a new drama that Cianfrance also co-wrote, “The Place Beyond the Pines.”
The first stills from the film are now out – and they show co-stars Bradley Cooper and Ryan in full character.
In the film, Gosling plays a motorcycle driver who turns to a life of crime to make a living which sounds vaguely similar to his character in “Drive.”
Cooper is the rookie cop who somehow ends up chasing him, dreaming of making a career off the bust.
One still shows a blonde Gosling on his bike, looking into the horizon, most likely cooking up his next it. The other is of Cooper running, serving and protecting, as the saying goes.
“The Place Beyond the Pines” also stars Gosling's girlfriend Eva Mendes, Ray Liotta, Rose Byrne, Ben Mendelsohn and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, and will be out in theaters in 2013.
