Gigabyte presents another phone for kids

If you're a Hello Kitty fan, you most likely won't encounter any problems in finding a mobile phone dedicated to the popular feline. And while Hello Kitty is as popular as it gets - as you can see her face on many types of portable devices - the people who are responsible for its creation have also created two other characters, although maybe less known and by far not as popular, named "Kiki" and "Lala".

This would not be the first time that Gigabyte offers such a phone, as they have already released several mobile phones that most likely target kids, including a Barbie phone, a Keroro phone and a Snoopy phone, and I suppose they won't be stopping as long as there are popular cartoon characters out there that they can dedicate a phone to.

And, as usual in a cell phone of this type, the feature set can't be anything other than basic. The mobile phone comes with a 2 megapixel camera that doesn't promise impressive photos but will allow the user to take snapshots, a 2 inch screen with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, GPRS and USB 1.1, and all the very basic features you would find in a mobile phone.

The Kiki and Lala phone measures 99.7 x 48.5 x 19.8, weighs 105 grams, and won't really be appreciated by anyone except for Little Twin Stars fans, because it doesn't really offer anything, apart from design, that you can't find in other phones. But it's pink and cute and doesn't sport any complicated features, so it would probably be a great choice for your child.
