A new MMORPG has made its way onto the Kickstarter platform, being constructed in the spirit of the superhero game “City of Heroes.” The developers have named it “The Phoenix Project-City of Angels,” and represents their desire to show how a game can be more than just that, being a community, a home.

Their intended goal is to create a multitude of player choices starting from the costumes, to powers and even adventures. Players will gain to construct their own character, to tell their own story and even have their personal agency in a superhuman world.

This innovative new game requires a sum of $320.000/ €236.651 by Monday, November 4, in order to be funded.

The action takes place in world where good battles a constant evil and darkness. The user must rise to make a difference in the vibrant and trilling metropolis of Titan City, with his superhuman character while fighting his villainous counterpart. It is a game that stands for ideals such as ”justice,” “truth,” honor.”

Through Kickstarter, the Missing Worlds Media studio has the chance to approach new territories, allowing fresh new ideas to be implemented into the game.

What makes this massively multiplayer online role-play game so different from others, is that it does not have your typical classes or skill-based system. Instead, it focuses in attitudes.

Therefore, gamers receive all the powers that can be offered. First, they must select their primary power so that the game can determine what options are available for their secondary powers. Afterward, the character can level up and gain new powers as well as grow the power it already has.

The studio's future goal is to create a durable story, as MMORPG are different from CRPG and tend to grow over time.

Therefore, they creates a 5-year plan and worked backwards to their initial beta release planned around 2015. Other stretch goals include an Android and iOS port of the Avatar Builder.

To cover the first three months of subscription, the developing house will be charging for something called “the box,” meaning there will be a certain fee for the game.
