The violence in the north-east suburbs of Paris continued Thursday night with the torching of another 150 vehicles, Reuters announced.
Despite the high number of riot forces deployed in the troubled areas, the young French rioters, most of them Muslims originating from North Africa, have succeeded to set fire to two warehouses, a bus depot and an elementary
school, Bloomberg informed.
The rest of the civilians whose daily activity has been disrupted by the violent acts are in shock.
"Why a school, why a car? What can you say about such blind violence?", one local mayor, Michel Beaumale, said.
Following the briefing of the plan of action by France's PM, the local officials have complained about the political disputes between Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy and Prime-Minister Dominique de Villepin,.
"Many of us told him this isn't the time for an umpteenth plan", stated Jean-Christophe Lagarde, mayor of Drancy in the riot-hit region. "All we need is one death and I think it will get out of control."
The clashes broke out on October 27 in Clichy-sous-Bois, after the death of two boys, with ages of 15 and 19 respectively. They were electrocuted by high-voltage equipment in an electricity substation.
Their families have said that the two boys took refuge in this location after being pursued by the police, but the police representatives declined these accusations.
