The PS3 Has Its Own "Eye of the Tiger"

As the PS3 wants to make up for lost ground to the Xbox 360, Sony has decided to release their own version of the Xbox Live Vision Camera, namely the Eye Toy.

This news comes via t3.co.uk gadget website as they report the features of this Sony gadget. Apparently, this device will allow you to take PS3 customization to another level by resizing videos "held" in your hands and you will also be able to load pre-set preferences.

Apparently, a new promo is out for this PS3 gizmo and it shows that the Eye Toy can make sense of environments to add costumes and backgrounds as well as overlaying interactive items into scenes (sounds cool!). This system will place you in the middle of a media universe, where you can control almost anything as you desire.

As great as it may sound, you first have to get a PS3, and trust me that won't be easy at all. Some are already forming meter-long queues in front of retailers all across the US. And to think the PS3 launch is one week away. I can't imagine what kind of people are those who can put their lives on hold for a whole week only to get some extra bucks. Don't they have any jobs, school, children, something?
