Capcom has recently declared that their latest ultra violent zombie extravaganza, Dead Rising, will arrive in Europe uncut, despite its having been rejected by Germany's
software rating board a while ago.
"Dead Rising's brilliant violence has been completely preserved for European audiences," said a company spokesman. "No cuts have been made to the PAL version."
This pretty much addresses the general concern that Dead Rising would meet Ninja Gaiden's fate, from which certain animations were removed ahead of its European release. All the zombie-flavored digital goriness is intact for European gamers to dive into.
Dead Rising was released in the USA on August 8th and, despite a few issues, was subject to positive reviews so far. According to Capcom's estimations, the game will be released in Europe on September 8th, so in case you were wondering how it's like to kill zombies with a lawnmower or a bowling ball, you will soon find out.
