We wouldn't have bothered to write about the new updates at iZotope if it weren't for iZotope themselves. There are a whole bunch of software manufacturers which are producing GBs of software, all for music and audio production... and they all announced Vista compatibility ever since Vista wasn't quite out... and that was about all to them.

Now what we're talking here is the manufacturer of some of the world's best professional plugin tools as far as serious audio production is concerned: iZotope. For audio enthusiasts and audio producers, this name equals to the simple vicinity of perfection.

But you don't need to be a sound engineer to know about iZotope's work. I am quite sure that many of you have used and rejoiced the extreme capabilities of the most popular Winamp and Media Player plugins, the Ozone for Winamp and Ozone for Windows Media Player. Starts ringing a bell now, huh?

Well, unlike other manufacturers, iZotope didn't hurry to be among the first to claim Vista compatibility for their software. So it came that those who expected the Vista launch just as the perfect opportunity for the second day announcement of compatibility went back to the drawing board and started working again, because nothing really worked as expected.

These days, we're slightly drawing near past 4 months of Vista on the market and just about now, the really hard works start to pay. iZotope have released updates for three of their major plugins: Ozone - a very complex and extremely powerful mastering tool, used by world's leading audio engineers in all genres, Trash - one of the most serious guitar distortion plugins to have ever be installed on a computer and the rather new Spectron, a next-generation spectral effect plugin allowing complex, unrivaled and simply astoundingly powerful band separation for audio recordings-manipulation.

All these three pieces of software are now running smooth under Windows Vista as iZotope declared and they are fully compatible with everything Vista has brought in as far as audio is concerned. So the audio engineers laying hands on the new DAWs launched at the beginning of the summer, most of them coming with pre-installed Windows Vista, rock on once more: your favorite plugins are there for you again!

The prices are the same as the previous, non-Vista software and the plugins will do the same great job under XP as well.
