Yesterday morning, the London police and fire department were called to attend yet another incident at the Osbournes' country mansion, in Buckinghamshire, 40 kilometers from London. Apparently the fire was caused by a faulty lamp in one of the hallways that short circuited and set it ablaze.
A 911 call was made only instants later by a person who was supposed to be the family's housekeeper. The firefighters said that the fire was relatively small and, due to the woman's fast and prompt thinking and reaction, it could be put out very rapidly. No one got hurt in the incident and very minor damages were registered to the mansion. Yet, a female member of the staff had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The Osbournes were not present in the house at the time of the fire. This is the second problem of this type in less than a year. In 2005, a fire broke in the family's living room while they were asleep, and Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly had to flee in the garden for safety, with all their numerous pets.
